Family activities
There are a range of family activities within a short distance of Ash House Farm. Why not take the family for a visit to Stockley Farm, Arley on a weekend break. Perhaps you would like to visit Chester Zoo, which is said to be one of the best zoos in the country. If the weather is not too good there is always the Blue Planet Aquarium undercover. Within 10 minutes drive there is Blakemere Craft Centre ideal for families or adults - there are a number of Craft Shops and also a Falconry Centre. Another craft centre nearby is Lady Heyes at Frodsham.

Blakemere Craft Centre less than 10 minutes drive is day out for all ages. Falconry days are held here and Ash House Farm is an excellent base to stay if you have been lucky enough to have Falconry Day purchased as a gift.

You could also visit Quarry Bank Mill, Styal, Wilmslow, the Mill is only half an hour's drive from Ash House Farm. A day out at this working Cotton Mill is of interest to all ages. Contact the Mill on 01625 527468, email

About 20 minutes drive from Ash House Farm is the Shire Horse Centre at Cotebrook, and a little further for the more energetic Beeston Castle where you can see and excellent view of Cheshire.
