The Dining room and Guests' lounge

baywindowviewcp.jpgStep into the elegantly furnished dining room with wooden floor and traditional rugs. Antique mahogany period furniture is the setting with Liberty drapes adorning the windows. There are also fridge & microwave for guests' use.  Enjoy a home cooked breakfast with relaxing breathtaking views of the large garden - where there is plenty of wildlife to see be it pheasants, doves and thrushes or squirrels and rabbits.

In Summer the roses are in full bloom, in late summer the Apple orchard is just a vibrant red glow of the delicious Katy and Discovery apples. Sit on the window seat where you see an abundance of birds and wildlife hopping around.  A door leads out on to the patio where Guests may wish to go out and relax on the garden furniture or stroll round the mature well stocked garden. loungecp.jpgGuests can also come to this cosy lounge to relax and unwind in front of the woodburning stove.  This is a lounge full of Georgian architectural features, with solid wooden floor and traditional rugs in front of the inviting fireplace, tastefully furnished with Liberty ‘Melbury' fabric, a lovely sunny aspect with breathtaking views of our large garden and the birds visiting for their breakfast. Sit on the comfortable settee and chairs, have a quiet read, or just chill out and enjoy the picturesque countryside.  There is a quantity of books and  photo albums on the history of the Greg family to peruse through at your leisure.
